Watching X and Hacker News, around the clock

Somebody is asking for the thing you built. Right now.

IntentRadar watches X and Hacker News for the exact phrases buyers type right before they go looking, reads each post against your product, and sends you one digest a day with an opener ready to send.

No card to try it: one real match from X and one from Hacker News, on your own product. Nothing is ever posted on your behalf.

“is there a tool that”“alternative to”“would pay for”“what do you use for”

The words people type before they buy

“is there a tool that”“anyone know an app”“what do you use for”“alternative to”“would pay for”“looking for something that”“does something like this exist”“tired of using”“can anyone recommend”

You add your market’s words to narrow them. “is there a tool that” + podcast finds the person asking for a podcast tool, and nobody else.

From a stranger’s post to your outreach queue, by breakfast.

01

Describe what you built

A few sentences: what it does, who it is for, what it replaces. That description is what every post is judged against, so the matcher cannot claim something you did not say.

02

Track buying phrases

Pick from the library or let IntentRadar suggest phrases and keywords from your description. Each one is searched as the exact phrase on X and Hacker News.

03

Read the digest, send the opener

Every match comes with a score, why it matched, whether you actually fit, and a two-sentence opener in your voice. Copy, open the post, send it yourself. Mark it done.

A morning digest

Three people. One of them is already typing your category into a search box.

A keyword is a candidate, not a lead. A cheap first read throws most candidates away; the careful read scores the rest, says why, and writes the opener. You see only what clears your bar.

X · @quietbuilder🔥 93

Is there a tool that turns customer calls into a weekly summary? We do about 15 calls a week and I end up pasting notes into Notion by hand.

matched “is there a tool that”

X · @mayakbuilds🔥 85

what do you use for turning sales call recordings into notes? tired of doing it myself every friday

matched “what do you use for”

Hacker News · tomh🔥 88

Ask HN: Alternative to Gong for a 3-person startup? We just want recordings summarised and a weekly rollup.

matched “alternative to”

Read-only, by construction

No provider in the codebase has a write method. Nothing comments, posts, follows or messages. Every opener is sent by you, from your own account, or not at all.

Official APIs only

X and Hacker News through their public, documented APIs, rate limits obeyed. No scraping, no browser automation. Reddit joins when its commercial approval does.

Your product, your judgement

Each account is its own workspace: your phrases, your description, your matches, your digest. Nothing about your product is used for anyone else.

Pricing that a side project can afford.

Try it on one real post from each source. Pay when the digest earns it.

Questions founders ask

Does it post for me?
No, and it cannot. Every opener is copied and sent by you. That is what keeps your accounts safe and your replies human.
Why phrases instead of keywords?
Keyword tools return everything that mentions your category, including the people selling in it. A buying phrase is the sentence shape someone uses when they want a thing and do not have it yet.
How does it know a post is about my product?
You describe the product once. A fast model asks whether the post is plausibly a buyer; a careful model scores the rest against your description and writes the opener. Nothing outside your description is ever claimed.
Where does the digest arrive?
On the Digest page every morning at the hour you choose, in your time zone. Starter and Pro can also post it to a Slack or Discord channel.
What does the free plan actually do?
It runs your phrases for real and shows you one genuine match from X and one from Hacker News, read against your own product, opener included. If those two are good, the paid plans do that every day.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the billing page. Your phrases and queue stay; you drop to the free plan.
